Sting Me Again, Please

Tomorrow (Sat. 3/27) will be a trip to Berks Jazz Festival in Reading Pa. This is a 10 day long, indoor, multi-venue international event much like Montreaux or Catalina. Wynton Marsalis, Chris Botti & all the popular bands have ticketed concerts there. I am primarily going to see my most my favorite new band for the first time "Four80East" who rarely play live, at 2pm.

Then at 7pm I will see these players for the 6th time. Yellowjackets. I've met the band in person twice, (bass player Jimmy Haslip 3 times). Their Jazz recordings win Grammys almost every year since the 1980's and there isnt much justice I can do with language here that the above performance wont crush heartily. Flawless, brilliant, breath-taking, you get the picture. Give yourself 10 minutes and listen/watch the video....I will report back in 2 days with a wrap up!
